WISYNCO ENVIRONMENTALS
This company was borne out of the need to reduce, reuse and recycle plastics. Today the company re-processes high and low Polyethylene scrap and converts this to resin granules which is then used back in the production process. Most scrap is obtained from other local plastic manufacturers as well as from WISYNCO'S Factory.
WISYNCO ENVIRONMENTALS also collects and grinds most bottles made from PET. This material is then exported to the USA, and made into various products like thread and crates for various soft drinks and water based products. The company has in place a program with schools, clubs, associations and environmentally conscious persons whereby PET bottles returned to the factory results in cash or bonus points that go towards purchasing computers, books or other needed items. The Jamaican government has endorsed this program.
